Loretta Gendle

I hav​e always loved art and finally have time in my life to paint. I work mainly in acrylic or watercolour and enjoy experimenting with different mediums including incorporating natural materials for texture. 

I am a keen photographer and use photos taken whilst out walking as a source of inspiration. I see beauty in most things but am particularly fascinated by trees, birds and insects. I either work in detail to represent the subject as I saw it or in a looser, more abstract manner if I want to convey how it made me feel.
