Hilary Steel

I have always loved drawing and more recently painting architecture and this was enhanced when I studied Architectural Design at Brighton University. Working from photographs I use ink and pencil and render in coloured pencils or watercolour. I am a member of the Society of Architectural Illustrators and have also been successful in having drawings accepted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition a few times. As well as existing buildings, I have in more recent years invented whimsical tree houses and eccentric architecture.
